I'm hopeless at folding airplanes but very good, it turns out, and releasing leaves into the breeze. Thank you, Sophie, for this beautiful airborne prompt!
I live on the 20th floor of an apt building and I can't tell you how tempting it is to launch something off my balcony. What a perfect time of year for this prompt, when we're preparing to review the year and begin a new one. But even though it's just paper I'm afraid to drop something from this high up! :))) I'm going to grab a leaf that's dropped from a tree and launch that instead. Thank You for this idea!
Michelle, I love the idea of writing on a leaf and letting that drift down from your balcony. Letting your words take that random, zig-zag twirling journey sounds beautiful. 🍂🍃
O I love that. That random zig zag is SO my writing and working life right now. Such patience it requires! I think I'm having more fun meeting other coaches than the writers are, lol!
I lived in Switzerland for a year and remember that alpine Foehn well -- a hot dry wind from the south, perfect for carrying away "old burdens," as you say. Thanks for this image, Tamara!
I am desperately behind on these daily writings. It's my first semester as a PhD student, and I'm excited but also drowning in my coursework. With the kids and pup out of the house, I spent today's beautiful Sunday catching up on these missed posts.
This prompt was so beautiful. I have two desires that I hold secretly, and the mere act of writing them down served revelation and admittance. I'm not ready to launch them into the world yet... moving them from my body to paper was a big step. 😬 They have taken word form, and whether they stay written or take flight rests in the will of my universe. 💫
Here's to your secret desires, Edith, and your courage in giving them words. I think you will know when it's the right time to launch them onto the air...
In the same way, I'm certain that Helen and Margy would say that there is no such thing as being 'behind' in the world of AcWriMoments. Go gently and find the rhythm that works for you. ✨

I love this fanciful prompt, Sophie! Will report back later once I’ve had a chance to try it ✈️

Let's embrace the random zig-zag! ⚡
What a beautiful image, Michelle -- leaves floating away, our words carried by the wind...
Old burdens have fluttered away in the Tyrolean autumn foehn... What a liberating prompt! Thank you!

And what a beautiful word: 'foehn.' Thank you, Tamara. Wishing you many good new words and projects in that space you've created.

Thank you so much, Sophie! 🥰 It's an incredible gift to be a participant in this community.
I'm loving it too, Edith. Thank you for being here and for such a beautiful response to my prompt. 🌞
Indeed, no such thing as behind in #AcWriMoments! Thank you both for being here!
